Chef and Home Cook Service – for that special occasion
Sorrento is blessed with fantastic restaurants and the region’s food is second to none, but here is a truly individual evening; our Chef and Home Cook service will cook and serve authentic regional food, tailored to you, for your own special evening in the comfort of your villa or apartment.
Whether you wish to sample your own perfect Italian menu, or you have special dietary needs like gluten- or dairy-free meals, our expert chef will create dishes to delight, with craftsmanship and attention to every detail. Wherever possible, our broad range of ingredients is organic and sourced locally. Whether from sea or shore, vegan or vegetarian, each component is the freshest and best quality available.
This unique experience is perfect for a special meal or celebration; just sit back with a glass of wine while your chef and assistants prepare your table and your three-course meal in your holiday kitchen, serve it to you and then clear away afterwards.
Your three-course meal takes around two hours from service of the first course.
1) Seafood/fish menu
Crisp bruschetta with a tuna and olive pate
Trio of marinated swordfish, salmon and anchovy
Locally caught prawns au gratin
Linguine with clams and Piennolo tomatoes (exclusive to this region and with an intense flavour due to the volcanic soil they are grown in)
Sea bass fillet with lemon
Fresh lemon sorbet
Served with red and white wines, mineral waters
2) Traditional menu (no seafood or fish)
Parma ham, caciottine, fior di latte (cheeses) and Sorrento tomatoes
Parmigiana di melenzane (a delicious baked tomato and aubergine dish)
Peppers stuffed with sorrentina (olives, capers, aubergine)
Ravioli alla Caprese (mozzarella, tomato and basil) or Neapolitan lasagne (cheese, beef and tomato)
Roast chicken with potatoes
Served with red and white wines, mineral waters, sparkling wine on a Muscat tablecloth; dinnerware and cutlery are not provided but additional tables and chairs can be provided on request.
Chef only: €200.00 (no ingredients etc provided) for up to 30 people.
Waiter: full day €120.00; half day €70.00
Our personal chef is focused solely on you and your dinner party. This gives you the flexibility to tailor the menu to suit your own dietary requirements and preferences. Whether you don’t like mushrooms, would love a completely vegetarian degustation, or need gluten or dairy free meals, we can tailor the menu to suit you.We have a range of sea and shore, vegan, celiac and vegetarian menus available.
On average, a three course meal will take approximately two hours from service of the first course.
Our chef and assistants will take care of everything from start to finish. They'll bring all the necessary ingredients, cook and serve the food and even clean up afterwards. All you have to do is sit back, enjoy a glass of wine, and anticipate the amazing gastronomic experience that awaits!
